Document and Location member Huma Mulji selected for South West Showcase 2022

We are delighted to announce that Document and Location member Huma Mulji is one of two artists selected for South West Showcase 2022. South West Showcase is a recurring open call platform, showcasing artists from across the South West region.

The award will see Mulji develop new work for her upcoming solo exhibition Your Tongue in My Mouth at MIRROR, Plymouth. Document and Location will be commissioning new assets to support the exhibition, including a newly commissioned critical text by Asma Mundrawala as part of our File Note series, and a new edition of our Fieldwork page which will present specially selected research and work-in-progress material relating to Your Tongue in My Mouth.

Huma Mulji, Your Tongue in My Mouth will preview 21st July 2022 5pm – 7pm and then open from 22nd July 2022 until 14th September 2022.
